Moet et Chandon

Probably the most famous brand of Champagne in the world. A huge company with around 1000ha of vineyards. Claude Moet founded the company in Epernay in 1743. There are a staggering 28km of underground chalk cellars.

Tasting

Salmon colour with a coppery tone. The bubbles are fine and the mousse very good. The nose shows a lively wine with strawberry aromas. The palate is full and zesty with good strawberry fruit and a lovely crisp finish.
